in Gent Are we looking for a Internship - F&B management

What will you do?

- Administrative tasks for the chef and F&B manager: Assist in maintaining administrative tasks, including organising documents, reports and other administrative work for our chef and F&B manager.

- Preparation of kitchen and dishwashing planning: Assist in preparing the daily planning for both kitchen and dishwashing to ensure smooth and efficient operation of these departments.

- Cooling management: Assist in organising and maintaining the refrigerations to ensure the quality and safety of our supplies.

- Processing daily orders: Assist in processing daily orders, including checking stocks and placing orders with suppliers.

- Assist with monthly stock counts: Actively participate and assist in preparing and conducting monthly stock counts to ensure the accuracy of our stock levels.

- Review and update all SOPs for F&B and kitchen: Assist in reviewing, updating and organising all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to F&B and kitchen operations, including ingredients, allergens, photographs of dishes, drinks in the bar, etc.

- Maintenance of Quality Guard: Ensuring our Quality Guard system is kept fully up-to-date, including recording relevant data and taking corrective action when necessary.

Who are you?

- Education or study in hotel management, F&B management or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is a plus.
