Kitchen Internship @ Pillows City Hotel Brussels

Are you looking for a challenging and educational internship in which you have a lot of space for your own ideas? During this internship, you will be a part of our kitchen team. You will be assisting our chef de cuisine and the chef de parties by doing all the necessary preparations and you will take care of the composition, presentation and garnishing of all dishes. You will take care of the mise-en-place. You know about HACCP and are co-responsible for making sure these regulations are met. You get the opportunity to work together with a top chef who established a ‘chefs hat award’ who will guide you in developing your skills towards a Michelin star level.

Check your profile;

• You are following a training course in the field of hotels/tourism and an internship is an integral part of your education
• Available for a 5-month internship
• Experience in a similar role in the hotel industry/hospitality is an advantage
• Eager to learn and able to work independently
• Flexible and enthusiastic to learn and develop
• Impeccable communication skills oral and written in Dutch and/or French and English. Any other language is a plus.

What we offer

We offer you a diversified internship in a luxury boutique hotel that approaches things differently. You will join a team of experienced hospitality professionals who are ready to teach you everything they know about hospitality and coach you to become the best you can be. On top of that you will receive a monthly pay of €400. Please note that we cannot offer accommodation to our interns. If you apply please make sure you have or can find accommodation for the duration of your internship. If needed, we can give you advice about this.
