Who are we?

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park, located in the eastern part of Amsterdam's city center, next to Oosterpark, is an exclusive 5-star hotel with 88 rooms, various (meeting) salons, and multiple F&B outlets. In the winter of 2017, the first Pillows Hotel opened at Vondelpark, and since then, we have rapidly grown with high rankings and mentions in Michelin and GaultMillau.

 What does the role involve?

 As a Doorman & Porter at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park, you play an essential role in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. Your tasks include greeting guests, assisting with departures, handling luggage, valet parking cars, and other necessary duties within the hotel.


What are your responsibilities?

- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival and departure.

- Collaborate with the entire front-of-house team ( concierge, reception and all other departments) to ensure that guests needs are met quickly and efficiently.

- Provide valet parking services for guests' cars.- Assist with luggage and escort guests to their rooms.- Explain the hotel's services and facilities.

- Perform various tasks necessary within the hotel.- Keeping the hotel entrance area nice and tidy

- Drivers license is necessary


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a smiling, reliable, and flexible colleague familiar with Amsterdam and its hotspots. You speak fluent English and Dutch is a plus, have a driver's license, and have understanding in hospitality. You understand that your appearance and interaction with guests are essential for the overall experience. Hospitality is second nature to you, and going the extra mile is a given. Within the team you are pro-active and you enjoy working together with your colleagues. Are you available 4-5 days a week?
