Pillows Maurits at the Park is the sixth outpost from the Pillows Hotels brand, where guests can expect five-star luxury service. With 88 luxury rooms and suites, a fine dining restaurant, a brasserie, two bars, a guest – only Living, and several meeting spaces, it will be a hub for curated experiences that take inspiration from its rich natural surroundings.

It combines privacy when needed and instant access to the bussing city centre. Located on the edge of centre of Amsterdam, the hotel is seamlessly connected with the vibrant Oosterpark, while offering guests numerous experiences without having to leave the premises.

What are your main responsibilities? 

Ensure smooth and efficient groups and events through flawless co-ordination of each group.  

  • Ensure conference details and logistics are communicated efficiently and effectively between the client and the operational departments.   
  • Provide each guest with 5* quality service by adhering to the standard of service required by the hotel in accordance with the hotels policies, procedures, and objectives. 
  • Assist each guest, co-worker, and vendor efficiently, courteously, and professionally and lead by example.  
  • Handling of daily inquiries, which includes carefully selecting the right business at the right price and the right time.   Maximum yielding of revenues together with revenue manager
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate forecast, including F&B, room rental and misc.
  • Review banquet rates via Ideas
  • Familiar with and performs according to the hotels and departments vision and mission statement. Act according to the house rules and knows the hotel’s fire and safety regulations. Is well dressed and always groomed.


What are your main tasks?

You are responsible for handling inquiries received by internet, mail, telephone, internally and personally (walk in) and ensure 24-hour turnaround time. Handling incoming telephone calls conform standards is a daily task. Together with your colleagues you'll evaluate business inquires and yield to maximize revenues for both room sales and F& B sales.

  • Ensuring all information is managed consistently in Rezlynx and all respective systems e.g., Formidable.
  • Ensure all financial details of each group, from deposits to final billing is accurate and timely, reduce allowances and increase turnaround time for both deposits and revenue postings.
  • Provide Events Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and General Manager with detailed information about future booking activities / business.
  • Provide MC&ED with detailed information about current booking situations.
  • Provide the operational departments with adequate information about current and future business.
  • Ensure quality of day-to-day operations once a group is onsite.
  • Evaluate all business with client to ensure a constant improvement.
  • Provide operational departments with function sheets.
  • Yielding the right business for the right price at the right time
  • Handle guest/client complaints with the utmost sensitivity.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate forecast, including F&B, room rental etc.
  • After sales activities.
  • Familiar with and performs according to the hotels and departments vision and mission statement.
